Biodiesel Plants

Apart from their use in food industry, vegetable oils and fats are a vital resource for use in oleochemistry.

In the last few years the transesterification of vegetable oil for generation of biodiesel with glycerine as by-product has taken a large share in utilization of vegetable crude materials.

The sustainable production of alternative fuels is one possible way for partial substitution of exhaustible oil resources. The use of fuels produced on the basis of vegetable oil may help to reduce the CO2 emissions so that emission of climatically harmful gases is reduced.
